Q: What does the website migration service entail? Will my website be secure?

A: When your present hosting provider can no longer measure up to the needs of your web site, or when you face frequent network downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the help desk staff to respond to you, it may be a good idea to swap your provider, i.e. to move all the files for your sites together with your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At GMR Design, we are aware that this can be difficult & time–consuming. That’s the reason why we will accomplish all that for you for free! Our practiced technical staff reps will migrate your website content from your present provider to us. Our technicians have plenty of experience migrating websites and can take care of anything – from a standard WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla CMS–powered website, to a very complex, custom–built web app.

Q: What does the website migration service entail? Will my website be secure?
Q: How long will it take for my site to be migrated to your platform?

A: There are plenty of aspects to bear in mind – the total amount of files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the present workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That said, we do try to perform all web site migrations within a 48–hour window. Smaller–sized web sites are transferred much faster – usually in under 24 hours.
