A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to inactive addresses under the very same domain name. For instance, an email message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com if the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can receive messages from partners or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling mistake or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at a certain moment you may begin receiving spam email messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be re-sent to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Configuring a catch-all mailbox will be incredibly easy in case you have a Linux cloud website hosting package with our company. You can activate the feature through our advanced, yet easy-to-use Email Manager, which is an essential part of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you will manage the web hosting account itself. You’ll see all the mailboxes that you have created displayed in alphabetical order and on the right-hand side of each of them there will be a tiny "Catch-all" icon, which will immediately reveal to you whether a specific mailbox gets all the email messages for a given domain name or not. With a single click on the icon you can enable or disable this option at any moment. In case there is enabled email forwarding or if another mailbox has already been configured as a catch-all one for a particular domain name, you will get a warning notice from our system. The latter won’t deactivate/replace anything automatically or without your approval.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The catch-all option can be activated without any effort in case you have a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have set up with the domain names hosted in your semi-dedicated server account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and you’ll see a small icon conveniently located directly next to each one. With just a click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your liking as long as there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with this option already activated and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Instead, you can right-click on an email address and activate this option through the contextual menu that will show up. In case any of the conditions for creating a catch-all mailbox is not fulfilled, our system will notify you, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically.
