Multiple OS
Discover how you can transform your server from the beginning with a selection of Multiple Operating Systems.
An Operating System is the low-level software that controls a PC. It takes care of the way your hardware behaves, the communication with peripherals such as a monitor, a printer or a keyboard, the allocation of memory between all the applications, as well as the prioritization of applications when several run at the same time. Any program which is installed on a computer works by sending requests to the OS for various services using an application program interface (API). The contact with the OS is possible through a Graphical User Interface (GUI) or a command line. In the Internet hosting world, the Operating System is what runs a hosting server as well as all of the software installed on it, which includes not only website scripts, but also any other application for example a VOIP or a game server. If there are virtual machines created, they use a guest OS that is run on the server host OS.

Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting
The
dedicated servers that we offer come with as many as three different Operating Systems because we want to offer you more versatile solutions which will let you install and run any web software regardless of its system requirements. The choices are CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu and these three OSs are among the most stable and secure ones, not mentioning that they don't have any kind of license fees. All three have numerous developers who have created a large number of software packages that you'll be able to install and use on your hosting server. We also offer three web hosting Control Panels and which one you can use is determined by the Operating System that you select when you sign up. In case you need another OS afterwards, it won't be a problem because we can always reinstall your machine. With our Managed Services package we could also keep your OS secure by updating it on a weekly basis with all patches that are released for it.
